World is no longer the same after COVID19 and it's at a standstill, especially those in personal service industry. Many clients are hesitant to go back to their old routine and it's understandably so. I still get texts and DMs asking whether it is safe to get their lash extensions done. Well, all I can say is that I, as many out there, have implemented strict guidelines to keep my clients safe and have educated myself to keep my work stations and my practices up to the highest standard. I have obtained several certificates - Disinfection in Healthcare Practice and Barbicide COVID19 - to maintain the strictest work station for my patrons and I suggest many beauticians out there to do the same. Here are some guidelines:
Hand washing upon arrival (sanitizers provided). Refer to the video for proper washing technique. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seA1wbXUQTs
PPE (personal protective equipment) is mandatory. Clients are mandated to wear a mask (they will be provided with one, if needed) prior, during, and after service.
Unfortunately, interaction with clients is kept at a minimal to minimize exposure.
Disposable brushes discarded after single use and all tools are sanitized after each session.
Group bookings are no longer available and only one client is allowed in the workstation per session.
